I had the Magnum 52 4 stroke in mine, perfect power, but even so, a tight fit in the plane. There is not a lot of room in there. If the .62 is what you have and don't want to spend for another engine, go ahead and see if you can shoe horn it in. As for wanting to "overpower" the Rascal, I'm guessing you have no experience with one. It flies on the wing, very well, overpowering it is not an improvement. Best of luck with this fine plane.
