I know lots of people us loctite on metal to metal screw applications, but is it reversable? I'm concerned that once applied I'll not be able to unscrew without stripping. Any thoughts?

I know people use loctite to secure engine mounts to chassis but I remove my engine from the chassis constantly for cleaning and adjustments.
