I know lots of people us loctite on metal to metal screw applications, but is it reversable? I'm concerned that once applied I'll not be able to unscrew without stripping. Any thoughts?
I know people use loctite to secure engine mounts to chassis but I remove my engine from the chassis constantly for cleaning and adjustments.

blue loctite(243) is removable
red locktite is more permanent and requires a quite a bit of heat to loosen it
I bought a RC where the idiot used red loctite on EVERYTHING to put it mildly that was not fun to take apart...

When you locktight a part that you know you'll be removing again use the blue, the red is way to strong.I had to locktight my spur gear on,i used the blue.I removed it to change ratio's sometime after and it was really tight, but i was able to remove the 3 screws.
