What brand of saw engines are best to convert??
I`m not sure you understood what i ment with "complite engine".
Lets say, if i take off two nice oringe engine sides of an husqvarna there will fall out lot of small pieces, as the cranksaft etc. As the bearings and cranksaft are fitted into these sides. Only thing could be done is to cut excessive material around the bearings, is that what you do?
This is a motor that a gentleman has worked on in another thread..take a look at it and see if you can get a idea of what people are doing with saw motors, the shiney areas are where metal has been removed from the case that was not needed..
