RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)
I just started my DLE 20 up yesterday and rain the motor for 42 minutes for the first break. It rain great and the throttle response was really good but the return to idle was typical from what I read on here which is it idled at 3000+ rpm for about 20-30 seconds before it came down to 17-1800. Ok so from what I read here I just need to richened up the low end slightly I get that but the thing that I found strange was this motor did not want to stop. I pulled the idle trim back all the way and it idled at around 1400 rpm for ever. So I thought well the linkage needs adjusted, wrong it was completely closed! So, anyone have any ideas on this? I had to use the kill switch to actually get this thing to quit running! My DLE 55 shuts down with just adjusting the idle trim so I am curious on this. I even adjusted the end stop on the carb and it didn't make any difference. Does anyone think that when I richen up the idle that it would help this out also?
