Hey Mark,
thanx for the input mate ...my SRS arived this morning but my s.bus receivers are still on there way[:@]
..things change so fast the last years...antenas get shorter ..only a single wire come out from the receiver..
but i must say im not very comftable with the idea running 8 of the strong range servos from a single wire on the receiver..
and i dont recall i have plug a wrong servo in a wrong chanel in the past as futaba say...but i think thats the same chances of programing an s.bus servo to a wrong channel then..
I look for the benefits of the S.Bus and till now i only see two ..way more channels to play with , cheap receivers ..
anything else i miss?
George,
My understanding is that there is no load on the RX or the single lead as it is simply passing signal info to the PowerBox which is where all the current load etc is taking place. I have been running 10 8711s through this setup with no issues.
I think if you go for the FULL SBus system and remove the Powerbox from the equation then I'd share your concern about lots of hi-power digi servos through the single leads/plugs. That's why I really like the half way house setup of the PB and SBus RXs.
Cheers,
Mark
