Hi Moerig,

For those of us who don't speak geek ( ) are you talking about the SBus lead that connects the RX to the Powerbox or something else? PowerBox supply 20cm leads with their SRS units and state that if you want longer you can ''make them up to 1m but don't go longer than 1m'' - is this for the same reason you state?

Rgds,
Mark
yes the SBUS lead "signal wire" has limited drive capability and noise rejection capability. Its a 3.3V signal, so it goes from 0V to 3.3V for each bit of info. Since the noise from Servos etc, can approach this level as well, its a problem. Same deal as with long servo leads. The fact that it is "digital" does not help. PPM is every bit as "digital" as SBUS. But for passing signal from your RX to the PB its perfectly OK since the Servo currents are not shared on the SBUS lead. Also the data stream has no check sum or error correction scheme to let SBUS servos know there is an issue with noise. Once again this is the same as with Spektrum Satellites. Nevertheless FASST is miles better in design.
