Obviously an engine loss raises the odds of a crash, but far more often than not a dead stick results in a safe landing. What happened? At my field, with a barbwire fence at both ends, although the field is plenty long, it would be possible that an engine loss on takeoff could result in overrunning the runway and ending up in the fence. Otherwise it is up to me to get it back to the runway or put it down in the pasture.Stall?Trees?
