AND BYE THE WAY AGAIN, LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT I CALLED YOU SHAZ WHEN I SAW THE TURBINE CONE GLOWING RED VERY QUICKLY AND TOLD YOU THAT I DON'T WANT TO FLY IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE TURBINE AND YOU CONFIDENTLY RESPONDED A FEW TIMES THAT THE GLOW I AM SEEING IS NORMAL AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE TURBINE AND THAT I AM JUST PARANOID. YOU GAVE ME THE GO-AHEAD
George,
Since you thought there was something possibly wrong with the turbine, the smart move would have been to send the turbine in for service PRIOR to flying it. Then if the mfg determined that there was, in fact, a problem, you would #1: have cause to ask the seller to cover the cost of repair & #2: have saved the loss of your $4,800 jet.
Once you made the decision to fly that jet, with questions in mind, you completely absolved the seller of any responsibility for the outcome. The Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for making sure the jet he is about to fly is structurally and mechanically safe to fly.
