Default RE: Judging Question

ORIGINAL: wattsup

Tuan, why don't you tell us how you really feel. At least the boys over here in D3 will give you a little kiss as they do their number on you..........Just my thoughts, Everette
You know, that's what I'm going to miss the most. All of the secret meetings we had, planning the corruption and downfall of a certain few (obviously) superior pilots, like you and Cameron. In our secret undergound volcano lair, cigar smoke and whiskey thick in the air, we revelled in the torment of your souls.

Cameron was obviously the best pilot in FAI down here, and the jason whoever guy was just a hack that we liked because he paid us so well. In skittles no less. I like skittles. It was obvious that Cameron was outflying that scmuck in every outing by at least 5-6 points per manuever, but he didn't pay the skittle fee. Us corrupt peeps gotta have them skittles ya know.

And of course, you were EASILY The best masters pilot ever to fly a plane. No matter that a six sided loop actually was supposed to have SIDES, it should have been a 10. But hey, you weren't flying the right plane so you know....instant 5 point downgrade because of that. Not because you didn't finish a contest in the last 6 years and always left on Saturday screaming about how those evil Black Magic guys (who were hardly ever in the chair but who cares about details) screwed you and the whole thing was decided during a secret meeting on Friday.....in the underground volcanic lair.

Yes, I so loved all of the imaginary power, fixing contests and ruling the toy airplane world with a twisted iron fist. It was diabolically fiendish I tell you!!!! It's what made my day go smoothly. Wake up, drink a monster, and dial the evil bat phone to decide who got screwed the next weekend. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAAAA!!!!! !

Ok........sarcasm aside.

You and Cameron got beat because you got outflown. Period. End of discussion. You are (were) your own worst enemies. You can't watch a football game without thinking those guys in the huddle are plotting against you. Because of that crap attitude, you nut up in front of a judge and refuse to see your OWN mistakes. Think we all haven't questioned a bad score before? The difference is, other people don't run home in a huff or get loud and obnoxious over it. They do something called "practice" and hopefully, improve. They don't continually point fingers and make INSANE accusations.

News flash: nobody cares whether or not Cameron sold his sh*t anymore than they care that I sold mine. Pattern goes on. Without me, him, OR you. Sorry to be so blunt, but it's the cold hard truth. There are no schemes, no backroom meetings, no secret handshakes, just people...with ALL of thier faults doing (usually) the best they can. I fail to recall anyone saying "yay I get to judge! I am gonna stick it to _____ this time wheeeee!"

Anyway, it's crap like THIS that made me sell out and do something else. Constant drama. A person can only justify a war over toy planes for just so long until it ain't worth it.

It ain't worth it.
