Thank you Jeff. Hi Pattoncommander, I'm friends with one of the senior guys at the veteran’s center. They brought in a heavy crane to move the Bulldog to its present location from across the road where they have now built up an elaborate memorial site. The first order of business prior to the whole tank swing was to lift and re-orient the turret. He said they tried everything, including cutting open a hatch and sending a welder inside. Every time they tried to lift the turret the whole vehicle would rise. Apparently the Kaydon bearing has been removed and the turret is welded to the hull. It was a horrible mess, worse than it sounds, and they ran out of time and money. Included are additional suspension shots.
