Hi Guys,
I've been meaning to post these Bulldog photos for a while. I remember there were some questions about the suspension configuration a while back. These pic's are a little confusing since the turret's reversed. Also, are the tracks installed backwards on this machine?

Doesn't look that bad. It always amazes me why some idiots want to display tanks with the gun to the rear....Ours had the gun welded into the travel lock and it took our shop a week to get it loose and some of the weld scars ground off.
As Panther F wrote, the tracks are OK. Very unusual is the sledge mounted on the turret. Most of the pioneer tools are left off as they get stolen any way.

Gregg, many museums are using vinyl as the markings are easier to apply, look neater and last longer. Making and applying stencils on tanks is not the easiest job. The armor patch is not kosher but at least they have the Geneva Convention stars of the correct size and in the proper places.

Thank you Jeff. Hi Pattoncommander, I'm friends with one of the senior guys at the veteran’s center. They brought in a heavy crane to move the Bulldog to its present location from across the road where they have now built up an elaborate memorial site. The first order of business prior to the whole tank swing was to lift and re-orient the turret. He said they tried everything, including cutting open a hatch and sending a welder inside. Every time they tried to lift the turret the whole vehicle would rise. Apparently the Kaydon bearing has been removed and the turret is welded to the hull. It was a horrible mess, worse than it sounds, and they ran out of time and money. Included are additional suspension shots.
