Understand that I did give this decision some thought. I did not make the decision based on comments from the “evil six” (That is my term and I mean no offence). I took into account all the information that I obtained from not only RCU but from the AMA website and other sources. I believe that any time you take a position of leadership you open yourself up to criticism. Period. If you are unable or are unwilling to accept that criticism then perhaps you should not take that position. In my opinion there must be transparency when discussing matters concerning an organization such as the AMA. If the Leader members want to gain creditability with me, they must be open with their conversations when discussing matters related to the AMA. Just my opinion.

I have been able to read over the past year where that the AMA has done things that they can point to with great pride. Having said that, I have seen some things that they should be ashamed of. Despite The fact that they say all opinions are welcome, that doesn’t seem to be the case and not just the AMA as an organization but some of its members as well. If my opinion will be tossed aside and I will be banned from further discussion, then how am I to believe that my opinion matters. I wonder if I would be better off using my membership dues to buy props. I seem to have a problem with getting my airplanes back on the ground.
