I just looked up that radio on Google. It says that it's a 35 - 40 MHz system. That could be a big issue with interference. If it were me, I'd opt for one of the 2.4 GHz systems like the Airtronics RDS8000, or the Spektrum DX6i or similar radios. You can probably use the servos, but the radio is questionable, especially if you have control over the Rudder, Elevator, Throttle, and Ailerons, but it still jitters and adds throttle when you don't want it.

Those cheap radios are just that... cheap and, in a lot of cases, very unreliable.

There are other systems, Turnigy I believe is one, and there are others, but I would definitely can that radio and move to one of the 2.4GHz systems.
