RE: dual rates and expon extra 300 e
I have been flying for 6 months,my first plane was a cessna 182 electric .The radio i bought with the cessna did not have functions to set dual rate and exponential settings.I upgraded my radio to a spektrum dx6i and bought a extra 300 which is a more areobatic andless forgiving plane,so using these setting will help mecontrol the plane until i can fly it with 100% d/rate and expo rate.As i understand dual rates itsthe percentagea control surface is allowed to move between 0-100 % of its total travel.Exponential rate is about the sensitivity around the neutral postion of the control stick,so if the expo rate is 70% willthe control stick will be far less sensitive than say 20 %? thanks for your input. regards
