For what it's worth, It won't teach you much as your plane will not react like the FMSplanes do. If you learn to fly and land one, that will not help you one bit when it comes to your actual plane. Other simulators are way better, and of course way more cost. Ihave tried FMS and even after flying my 6th or seventh plane, I still couldn't fly the FMSplanes. The real planes either react much faster, or much slower, depending oh the FMS plane you are trying to fly.

Gorish has the best advise though, find a club and join it. Nothing like real hands on training from someone who knows how to fly.
