That's so sad. Seems like there's been a rash of bad things happening to children in the news lately, I just can't stand seeing those headlines. Maybe it's because I'm a relatively new father that I notice them more. Anyway, I think I'm the only one who actually loves the heat! I go running in it, I fly in it, I actually did some roof repair at about 1:00PM the other day- doesn't bother me. Last time I was in the middle east, I'd be drinking hot coffee outside even though it's 120 degrees, and I still don't sweat. But, I absolutely abhor cold- can't stand it. Can barely function in it. If it ever seems too hot, I just keep thinking about winter! [:@]
Heat is why we moved to Vegas. Dry heat though. It really helps out the old bod. After the first week living here I was off all pain medication. sense 2006 I think I have only had to take 4 pain pills during the monsoon season. If I'm on the strip this time of year I hear the tourists talking about how hot it is here??? My question is why would anyone come here during the hottest part of the year?? I don't get it but summer is the hight of the tourist season. We do have a spring and fall but people come here when it's 120 plus on the side walk along the strip. The gambling and shows are still hear when it's cooler.
