I did the maiden this morning... It went great. I love this airplane!!! The DLE 20 is awesome. It will fly the Waco scale at 1/3 throttle and climb almost vertical to where ever you want to go.... No need for any bigger engine on this 14 1/2 # plane... It balanced right on the 5 1/4 # back mark upper wing without fuel.. It lands awesome with wheel landings.
Glad to hear it went well. Finally finished the project I was working on and I'm starting this one. Prehinged surfaces are a welcome, as long as they did them right.
