Good points ken, to be honest I dont use the onboard propane very often. Although, I never had any problems starting off of the tank. I just find I dont waste as much propane by starting off the can , guess it's just hard for me to get used to all this fancy onboard stuff . But yes Matt, It will start on propane off the onboard system, pressure does not get too high.
