Default RE: US JET WORLD MASTERS

I went to the JWM in Ireland and I have to say I would never go again. As was said a couple of posts above the competition flying is like watching paint dry and is very boreing in my opinion. In my view the competition bit is simply not a spectators event. Also in Ireland and it sounds like the same was true here you were unable to get very close to the models to have a good look at them. To some extent I can understand this but it does somewhat take away from the interest as far as a spectator is concerned.

I am sure I will get flamed for this post but it is my view from attending the event in Ireland and indeed reading between the lines in respect of a few posts here. I am sure people would not wish these forums and threads like this to simply be a repeating list of people thanking the organises etc. I feel it is important to hear some honest views both good and bad. Looking at the pics so far however this event does seem to me to be considerably better that the Ireland 'event'.

It is important to understand that many people use these forums to weigh up if they will attend an event in the future. I travelled to Ireland at considerable time and cost and was as disappointed as I think I could be and I would not wish others to suffer the same. So if a person thinks an event was poor or could be better I feel it is important that they say so

Regards

Dennis
