Jet World Masters

It has been over a month now since the event is over. We had a great JWM at the National Museum of the United States Air Force from July 24- August 6. We had many happy competitors during our event. You can view the thread here on RCU and also feel free to go to our Facebook Group ( US Jet World Masters) Facebook has many post and photo galleries for you to look through. This JWM was really a unbelievable competition for scale RC Jets. The bar was very high. The detail in many of the models and the flying was truly the best. These planes were something to see by all. I have to make this a short post because dinner is calling.. A couple sponsors were left out of the list that roger posted so we will get that updated soon. In the mean time take a look at Mike McCullough photo gallery. He took a couple thousand photo's during his stay. THANKS PETE FOR THE COMPLEMENT, WE ALL REALLY DO APPRECIATE THE RECOGNITION AS MANY OF US DEVOTED 25 OR MORE DAYS AWAY FROM HOME & WORK AT OUR OWN COST WITHOUT ANY REIMBURSEMENT.

I’VE BEEN ASKED SEVERAL TIMES WAS IT FUN AND OF COURSE THE FUN WAS MINIMUAL, AS IT WAS NOT EXPECTED TO BE FUN FOR ME, BUT IT WAS EXTREMELY GRATIFYING.

IT IS ALSO NOTED THAT SEVERAL JPO & AMA OFFICIALS SUPPORTED AND ATTENDED THE EVENT:

KEITH SEIVERS WAS VERY INSTRUMENTAL ON SEVERAL FRONTS AS MY CONTACT WITH ILONA MAIN, WHAT A DELIGHTFUL PERSON, AND ARRANGING FOR MARK SMITH TO DELIVER A WELCOME ADDRESS AT THE OPENING CEREMONY.
PLUS THE ATTENDANCE & STAFF SUPPORT OF LANCE CAMPBELL, BOB & CAROL BRUSA, RON SCHWARZKOPF, GREGMOORE& LEE REIGHTER.
