If you are taking energy from the turbine to generate electricity, either by sucking a DF fan, or by converting the starter motor, you will lose a lot of power out of that turbine.....ask anyone who has had a hung starter motor.
It is far cheaper, easier, and less complicated to use a battery. How many mAH does the camera need..... a small 3 cell lipo should run it for awhile.....
