Default RE: Deception .60 CAD Plans

Nice,

good thing you were able to land despite the rudder issue. Whenever I see a model in that trim scheme, I will know who it belongs to!

For my part, a monumental achievement was indeed accomplished today. I have the Tipo wing primed with high build and am just waiting for some glazing filler to dry so that it can be sanded down to accept white primer. Once that's done, 90% of the paint work on the wing is done. The actual paint is pretty quick.

I also managed to get my stab fillets complete and ready for primer together with the fuse. I filled all seams and pin holes in the fuse and made a huge mess of sanded filler. A little masking and I'll be able to hit the fuse with primer too. But... may you be my witness, something like holidays starting on Thursday will cut into my momentum. The day I have gloss clear in my hand ready for it to be shot, I will be a happy man...

I think it was almost three years ago that I made my first post on RCU on the subject of this model. You were among the first I exchanged some comments with on our Tipo's. Low and behold, things do change.

David.
