On most of my gassers, I use a solid steel rod with nylon ball ends at each end bolted to the throttle arm and servo arm. Simple and reliable. DuBro makes some nice smaller ball ends that use 2-56 bolts through the brass ball. Plenty strong enough for a throttle application. Of course these also work well for the choke linkage.
