Default Throttle pushrod on DLE 30

Hello.

I am thinking of using a metal pushrod to activate the throttle arm. The throttle arm is made of non-conducting material. Plastic ball connectors will be used at both ends.

Is it safe to use the metal rod ? Will there be electrical interference considering that the throttle arm is non-conductive ? What is your experience ?

I have had no problem using a steel braided cable set up as you indicated. If you a concerns, you can always use NYROD

On most of my gassers, I use a solid steel rod with nylon ball ends at each end bolted to the throttle arm and servo arm. Simple and reliable. DuBro makes some nice smaller ball ends that use 2-56 bolts through the brass ball. Plenty strong enough for a throttle application. Of course these also work well for the choke linkage.

Plastic ball snap connectors are not a good idea on this size gasser, use the ball link with the thro bolt type.
