David,
Where is your UB CG?
Thanks
Dave Dennison
Right where it says on the drawings, I have flown with it aft of that, and it's okay there but wants to snap out if you yank on the elevator. My Flaps are set to 40 degrees, I landed nose wheel first one time and it was because I was going to fast and tried to force the landing. The UB is BIG and appears to be moving slower than it actually is. Doug mentioned pilto technique and I believe that he is hitting the nail on the head. I don't fly at altitude like the OP does so can't comment there. I have owned and flown several Bandits. Have never seen one that needed crow. I would (and always do) discover how slow an airplane will fly on early flights with any given aircraft. I think this is a step that is often overlooked by many pilots. Take it up high see how slow you can get it, make it stall then you will really know how slow you can go.
