RE: DLA Engines?
Hi Man, that one was shaking my Test stand like mad, after that i had a DLE 30 unit on it, it ran better but the advance curve kicks at 2400 like straight up. runs ok, but i don't like the jumpy behavior of that one, the one i tried next was an advertised RCEXL from Rcextremepower, witch i purchased a bunch Ignitions from and it runs and transits wonderful, little narrow with tuning, but i check the Carbs with a Walbro gage before use and found some some Carbs a little off enough to give you a rash. Figured them out for my needs, the DLA 32 performs just like the other brand close to it, but i had some issues with it and straightened it out, have no trouble starting, running at all anymore, once you messed with 3W's and get pd of you find a way to make anything go reliable after learn and listen. Baseline like in the Automotive world (i'm in that) and you can make anything work. AFR/Timing/Load/ the whole trick. I am to lazy to post a Video from my 3W 157 classic moving a 32 Vess B arround, belive me, the RCEXL makes it talk and go anytime, wish the DLA supplier i purchased it from would have given me the updated Ignition for free, frustration for folks who are unable to figure stuff out will drop bad posts and jump of the product line. Hope the forums here help to communicate with others to help each other and help to keep our most interest on this wonderful Hobby, lets chat about what it is all about and help suppliers to keep us informed and updated.
