I kept my GP Big Stick 60 at it's original length when switching from glow to gas, but changed it to a tail dragger l/gear arrangement, relocated the elevator and rudder servos to the tail and relocated the Rx battery rearward to offset the additional weight of the gasser, which kept the CG in it's original position.
