Yes some that have commented seemed to have an axe to grind but they also might just be trying to help some poor sap to NOT waste HIS/HER HARD EARNED MONEY. I have personally owned DL, DLE, and DA engines (as well as a few others) and IMHO there is a difference. Is it worth the extra money for the DA? Only the individual can answer that but it needs to hashed out as to whether some of these engines are what they are claimed to be and this forum is a great place to do that. Sometimes it's going to get heated but the truth will eventually come out. If you want the truth then sometimes you are going to have get down in the dirt and dig for it. Get a little dirt on ya.

I don't own a DLA at this point in time but I am closely watching a couple at our field. I am in the market for a 30cc and soon will make up my mind whether I will go with the DLE or the DLA (or maybe some other brand) based on my personal observations and maybe to some extent what I read on this forum depending on who wrote it. Spend a little time here in the gas forum and it quickly becomes apparent who knows what.
