Default RE: Customer Service?

Sounds like a company that has a ton of stuff for a ton of kits / designers if its the one i'm thinking of. It is pretty sad, if it is who i think it is, i once waited over a year for a set of retracts for a B-25, when they said 6 weeks delivery time. I've had just as much luck out of the company who many consider the "best" gear manufacturer. I spent nearly $1,000 with them on a set of 1/5 scale gear and scale wheels. I got the gear and after 2 retractions (by hand) the down lock fell apart. They had cut the pivot bolt down and use a regular locking nut and red-loctite to hold the nut on the bolt. The problem is, they had cut the bold down so much it had one HALF of a thread holding the nut on, and it was only finger tight so as to allow the down lock to still pivot.
Finally 3 months after asking for a new pivot bolt and lock-nut (like what was used on the other gear) i got the gear-re-assembled only to find out that the lock-nut was hitting the strut on the way up, which caused the strut to stop about 3/4 of the way up. 3 months of emails and phone-calls every week after that and i never once got a response back as to why my gear was so screwed up, but another set a guy on the net had were not. I eventually had to modify the strut to get the dang gear to work right.
Most companies customer service here in the US is to craps.. and with the luck i have had lately trying to find companies to help with my projects, its no wonder every other industry is sending all its business over-sea's.
