Having flown g-62's in warbirds for years and having seen the DLE55 fly in a warbird I will be shocked if the G-62 won't blow it's doors off! Of course it has to be propped right.
A 22X8 on a G-62 is all right for a mustang but get the revs up with, say, a 20X10 carbon fibre or a 21X10 wood and watch out. The G-62 loves rpm. I believe Ralph says they have run them up to 13,000 on the AT-6's with a special prop.
