Default RE: Goldberg 40 cub

I built the CG Cub this year for a friend and as I recall it had no engine thrust angle. Unless thrust angle is built in by the fire wall angle I almost never put any in until after I fly and trim the plane. If it needs some I will add it. Not all planes require it and not all planes require the usual 2 degrees called for. The trim of a plane is decided by the pilot. As an electric it's easy to add thrust as required. A Cub is not a stunt plane, it's just a slow cruising floater so thrust angle isn't a big deal. Mount the motor and fly the plane and see if you want to add any thrust angle before you start worrying about it. A couple of washers behind the motor is very easy to do at the field with electrics. The CG Cub is a wonderful flying machine, you will love it.
