RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA
I have used the low and medium Vibratite; with the medium working on everything but the muffler. They have a red/permanent one, which I intend to use when I get around to reattaching the Syssa Muffler. FYI VibraTite in an anorobic threadlocker, which works on the lack of oxygen as you tighten the threads, while Lock Tite literally reacts to the bolt metal, causing it to partially corode and jamb the threads. Vibra Tite won't damage the threads. I will post results after I have tried it.
For the record, I really like the way the Syssa runs, its power and stock muffler location. Just not crazy about the muffler and bearing issue, which may be worthwhile for Todd to provide insight and directons for these issues.
Some aviation mechanics have told me the lock wire should have resolved the muffler matter.
