Default RE: Good first biplane?

I vote for the Skybolt as well, I built this kit, back in the 90's. It has a long tail moment, and thin wings, and it's top wing is swept, so that it is still flying after the botto, wing stalls. I flew mine with a YS 120 supercharged, and it was flat out awesome.

The Pitts is a close coupled design, so like someone earlier said it's gonna be alot more tippy, or snappy.

The GP Stearman, or their Curtis Hawk look like they would be good flyers as well.
