Default RE: How do I install a hardened diff gear on a Losi Speed-T?

Sorry about the confusion.

I bought that RRP gear with the intention of using the black locker rings to grip it, however those rings don't fit. In fact I broke the black rings into several pieces trying to force them into the holes on the gear. That's when I realized that only building a ball-diff out of it was going to work. The reason I came here is because I discovered the other gear that has no holes in it and is completely flat. I figured I needed that one instead. After talking about it here, I realized that all I needed are some diff balls and lube and Ican put it together myself. Otherwise I'd just be wasting money on this RRP gear with the holes in it. I've done a bunch of research since and watched vids of how to build them, so I am confident I can do it with what I have now.

Hope that clears some things up a bit more...
