What a great thread. I have just learned about the counter-rotating crankshaft from K&B. I looked it up, and it is still available. I've been wanting to build a Breezy style project as a camera platform for quite a while now. The reason I have not is because of the limited selection of left-handed props. I even have a K&B .61 that has been looking for a home. New winter project is coming into focus. You guys are great.
One, but not the only, problem with pushers is the fuel tank location and its effect on CG. If you can get an engine with a pump then the tank can often be located closer to the center of gravity and have less effect as the fuel burns not to mention putting a heavy engine in the tail. There are 4-strokes with pumps and a few pumps available for 2-strokes. I don't know if there are any K&B's still made with the built in pump (Perry) like my engines have. i bought 2 NIB on EBAY a while back and also found a cheap reverse crankshaft there.
