Hi, I have a 72" Sbach mfd by Flying models and powered with a DLE 30 rear carb.
Engine is great, still not fully broken in, using an 18x8 wood prop.
A very, very good, experienced 3D flyer tested mine and said it was perfect. Only problem has been the "clunk" in the tank which folded after a violent maneuver and the engine quit. My fault; I had used a very soft type of tubing (came with the model)...
For safety's sake I have installed an electronic cut-off switch in addition to the standard mechanical switch, also installed a digital tach connected to the supplied cable from the ignition module.
Everything worked great.
As a final point I did not install a "choke" servo, using only a simple manual connection for this use; it is only necessary for the first start of the day, so why complicate things?
