larger tires will raise the ride hight. you can raise the suspension alittle, but not much before the dogbones will want to bind.

im not that familliar with how a dirt oval car is setup. But i figure the tires are the main part.

i had the electric lightening and it was pretty tough.

i say go for it. no one will know if the car will work well in that form unless they have done it.

i took a regular traxxas stampede and turned it into a 1/5 scale RC. many didnt think it would turn out well. but it did.
