The lite machines are a great heli to learn on. I currently have an older one that has the new crutch and Vmax 7 engine. It is almost a must in my opinion. The larger engine makes it easier to fly, you have power to pull up when needed. I fly on 40% nitro. The extra power makes a difference. The Vmax 6 engine has to be tuned just right just to get it to lift off the ground, and if it gets hot, down it comes.

I was thinking of moving on to a bigger heli, so I was thinking of selling mine. I will want $300 for mine all ready to fly. Less transmitter and receiver crystal. You will need a 6 channel transmitter with exponential programing. The 6 channels is needed for the heading hold gyro.

Whether you choose mine or another one, the lite machines is a great heli to learn on. When you crash is generally involves setting it up straight and restarting it. It is true the lite machines is more sensitive to the wind, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.
