I decided to try out a Perry pump and carburetor.

I got them in today and was kind of disappointed.

First was that the carb has a plastic body. I thought they where cast aluminum.

Then when reading the direction on the pump I learn that they can't be used for air-bleed type carbs, (I knew that) or Perry non-pump carbs. (Hugh? This is news to me).

So, I paid $40 for a plastic carb that I can't use with the pump.

I really don't understand making a line of carbs that can't be used with the pump you make.

I'd have designed the regular carbs to be used with or without the pump. The difference being that the pump carbs would have a over sided venturi for more power.

I guess they have thier resones.

It's off to the junk drawer for this carb.
