slow charge it at c/10 or 165 ma for 14-16 hours, the cells are new and unbalanced, if you charge it at 1 amp for the first charge you run the risk of overcharging cells in the pack. also nimh cells take a few charge/discharge cycles before they reach full capacity. and as said above dont charge/discharge at more than 1 amp. sanyo specs say max charge input should be 1C or 1650ma, and to check capacity discharge at 330ma to 1 volt per cell. in other words if your charger can discharge, do it at 300 ma and set the cutoff at 5 volts. heres a link to the PDF specs of that cell
