Once upon a time, when DA first sold that ignition, it had an Anderson Power Pole connector attached to the cut wires. The 15 amp version of that connector. That connector is also known as "Sermos" connector. The type of connector you choose is not important as long as it matches the opposite connector on the ignition switch.
The type of switch is also not teribly important as long as it is robust and reliable. Many people just use a $16.00 heavy duty radio switch. Others get carried away and spend big money on fancy switches with regulators, l.e.d.'s, and battery splitters. It's entirely up to you.
Your battery will work just fine.
