San Diego is dryer than Florida right. I'm in a dry climate so I skip the after run oil. Primary concern is condensation as the engine cools off. Low humidity here so dew point is 30 degrees lower than ambient. There are occasions when dew point is near ambient. Then I might stick some in. Not because it will keep condensation from happening though.
