So it sounds like 8fg is the way to go. Thahks for clearing that up. Can the 8fg use the SBUS stuff?
The 8FG will do 12 (maybe 14?) channels. However, I held an 8FG that belonged to a fellow club member, and I did not like the feel of that radio vs. the 12FG I have. IMHO, the 12FG is the way to go. A bit more expensive, but worth it.
