Default Need help Hangar 9 27% Cap 232g

Hey guys I need help. I bought a Hangar 9 Cap 232g used with a 45G motor, and it's my first step into the big gas planes. I cant find much info. Can I get some input? I am a good 40 sized 3D flyer.
I heard the Caps snap alot at slow speeds. It snap rolls in a hard banking turn and am found it needs almost a pound of lead in the nose to correct the cg, and this might fix the banking snap rolls. I have read where it is not meant for 3D. People tell me to land it fairly fast or it will snap roll. Also, could I put some vortex plates on the wingtips to alleviate the problem? I know it's an old plane but on my budget I'll be running it for a few years. Also will it hover with an Evo 45? Any input is valuable to me and thanks in advance.
