Default RE: Hangar 9 Blue Nose BEWARE!!!!

Thanks for allyour suggestions I am sure I will be able to six this bird with all your help.

The plane right now is balanced at 120mm from the leading edge of the wing; the instruction booklet mentiones the range between 117 to 127 mm. My instructor wants me to remove the gear retracts and change them for spring airs, he hopes we can lose a pound by doing that. However, he is convinced that the air foil and design of the plane is a poor one. Gosh, I spend so much money on this plane!!

To be honest with all of you, I do not understand why this plane does that, I contacted a guy in Orlando who has posted a video in YouTube of his hanger 9 with a FG20, he says, his plane weight 12.6 pounds and it does not exhibit this violent snaps I am experiencing.

I took a video of the behavior of the plane for all you to see, I will post it on YouTube and update this thread with the link.

Once again, Thanks for your help.
