I have learned that if you want to know what the best setup for anything, you must talk to the people who use the product in the field. The manufacturer and sales people are going to try to sell you something. That's their job. People using the product only want to share their experiences with you. Your findings do not surprise me in the least. The YS 1.4DZ is known as a smooth running engine compared to others of comparable size. If you mount it to a stable enough platform, vibration will not be an issue.
