Hey man, I'm still a kid and yes, I used to tore things a part all the time and some times I wasn't that successful putting them back togather [:'(], Now days I'm a little better on puting things back the way they were
The micro glow works the way you discribe it, one of the fetures is that you can set the throttle point where it stops from glowing the plug, I usually set it around 2/10 or two lines from the bottom up on the throttle stick, when you pass that point it stops glowing the glow plug and when you come down to that point again it starts glowing the plug, it has a reverse mode ( for diferent radios set up ) it also has a remote light that you can mount on the panel ( like my P-47 ) to show when it is on, when the engine is off and the airplane is on the throttle stick is set to all the way open to keep it off just in case someone has the tentation of touching the prop, if you walk away and forget to turn the airplane off it will go to dormant mode by turning itself off, cool gadget hey?
I got it from 42 Porcents Products in Sacramento ( I lived there for 9 years and the owner is a member of our club there ) I will be picking up another unit from him ( I took this one from my P-47 ) and a battery pack for my Futaba 9C next week, it comes ready to install with battery and all conectors or any way or connectors you want he has it all, you can call him and ask to custom make it for your needs with the connectors of you choise, i always do that, best part of all he will suport his producs for a long, long time.
