I don't think so, my motor had about 480 5 to 6 minute flights. I didn't see anything before I sent it in for repair. One thing I did notice, one of the connectors between the motor and controller seemed like the solder joint could have broken loose, I haven't looked at it closely yet. My noise only happened once and the motor stopped working.
