No key necessary...Use Loctite on the taper and the nut.....Keep the prop nut tight, reverse rotation would tend to unscrew it...
This is the only application where multiple prop bolts would be better
If you're concerned the prop nut might come loose from the reverse rotation, drill and tap a 3mm hole in the prop driver face. Screw in a bolt with a bit of loctite on it and cut it with a cut-off wheel some 5mm from the prop driver face.
Put the prop on in a desired oritentation and tighten the prop nut snug, or just enough to indent the prop. Drill a 3mm hole where the prop is indented - 5mm deep or maybe a bit more.
Now you have a nice index pin that prevents the prop to come loose from the reverse rotation.
